The men's body wash industry has not changed in 50 years.

Plastic waste, harmful ingredients, boring brands, dropping the soap, lost body wash through fingers, and not being able to travel with a wet soap or more than 100ml of liquid body wash have all dominated the industry for far too long.

As three ordinary men who shower daily, we got so frustrated with all of these problems that we decided it was time to revolutionise the men’s body wash industry, launch a business called Welcome to Bob Ltd, and develop a sustainable and refillable body wash that men love and want to use daily.

To get started, firmly pull off the lid—it’s snug by design, so don’t be afraid to use a little force. Hold the applicator body in one hand and locate the two raised lines on the rounded bottom section. Gently squeeze this section to pop open the applicator. Next, place a Bob Bar inside the main body, then press the bottom section firmly back into place to set the bar at the perfect starting height. To wash, wet your body as usual, hold Bob under the water for a few seconds, then use small circular motions to activate the bristles and create a rich lather. If you need more bar, simply press the button on the applicator; if too much is released, just push it back down. When you're done, slide Bob into the shower mount with the bristles facing down for proper drainage. Before traveling, use a towel to dry off any excess water, pop the lid back on, and you’re ready to go!

After each use, rinse the applicator under the shower or tap to wash off any excess foam and soap. When using Bob at home, place it in the shower mount to allow proper drainage after every wash. The applicator’s soft, medical-grade bristles are durable but delicate, so be careful when putting the lid on to avoid trapping them. If you’re taking Bob on the go—to the gym, work, or on holiday—simply pop the lid on, dry the outside with a towel, and slip it into your wash bag. It’s that easy!

Bob’s Refillable Applicator is built to last. The Applicator has been rigorously tested to last a minimum of 3,721 washes. That's one wash a day for 10 years.

Each Bob bar provides on average 15 washes. Across all of our testing, the average man uses 2.6g of Bob bar per wash. Each Bob bar weighs 41g, which provides c15 washes. Therefore, with 2 Bob Bars, it will give you 30 washes (or a month) if you wash once a day.

Bob was originally developed to wash your 'bits & bobs' (genitals), giving men an alternative way to wash their whole body, even their most delicate bits and bobs. As we have tested Bob over time we have found that Bobs refill bars are fast becoming the all-in-one solution for men to wash their body, face, hair and genital area with.

We always recommend giving your bits & bobs (genital area) a gentle wash the first time, just to make sure Bob works for all parts of your body.

Absolutely! One of the core features of Bob is its lid, making the applicator travel-proof. We recommend before travelling that you dry the applicator to prevent any leaks or spills when travelling.

The UK shipping cost is £1.99 via Royal Mail 48-hour tracked delivery. It costs us more to send it to you, but we wanted to subsidise the shipping cost as much as possible without affecting the quality of the products we provide.

Yes! Bob’s bristles are made from TPR which stands for Thermoplastic Rubber. TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) is commonly used in medical devices due to its flexibility, durability, and biocompatibility. It provides a soft, non-slip grip and is often found in products like syringe plungers, respiratory masks, tubing, and medical grips.

TPR can also be easily cleaned and sterilised, making it a practical choice for healthcare applications.

TPR is also more environmentally friendly than some traditional rubbers since it can be recycled and reprocessed.

Bob's bristles have also been certified as part of our product testing and certification requirements.

The shower mount works best on smooth, dry surfaces, such as glass and tile. Before attaching it, make sure both the suction pad and surface are completely dry, then press firmly for up to 10 seconds.

Bob’s refillable applicator is recyclable, and built to last for a minimum of 5 years compared to that of single use plastic body wash bottles.

As a cosmetic product, we must adhere to strict regulations in each country. Currently, Bob is certified for sale within the UK, which means we are unable to sell outside of the UK at this time. However, we’re working hard behind the scenes to get our products certified in other countries. The Bob bar is designed to clean, moisturise and deodorise all in one. Just give it a good scrub. Because we have removed the not so nice foaming agents the Bob bar doesn’t foam the same way liquid body wash might.
